- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions:
1 In a large pot, sautĀ onion and garlic in olive oil over medium heat for 5 minutes, or until the onion is soft and translucent.

3 Add chickpeas, lentils, diced tomatoes, and vegetable broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45-60 minutes, or until the lentils are tender.
4 Remove from heat and stir in cilantro and lemon juice.
